(VIDEO) Silver Super-Cycle: Why Triple-Digit Prices Are in Sight
This isn’t silver getting expensive.
This is silver finally being recognized for what it’s worth. I’ve been saying it for years: silver is the investment getting ready to burst out into a super cycle. And now we’re watching it happen right in front of our eyes.
For too long, silver was dismissed, overshadowed by gold, written off as just another commodity. But the numbers tell a different story. We’ve experienced four straight years of deficits. Silver demand has been outpacing mine supply since 2021, with a cumulative shortfall of nearly 700 million ounces.
Industrial demand hit record highs in 2024 at more than 680 million ounces. This was largely driven by solar panels, EVs, and electronics. And investors are back. Silver-backed ETFs added 95 million ounces in just the first half of 2025, pushing global holdings above 1.1 billion ounces—nearly matching the all-time peak.
I said it before and I’ll keep saying it: silver is the most undervalued, under owned asset in the world.
When the crowd finally wakes up, it won’t be a slow climb. It’ll be a repricing—a super cycle. And that’s exactly what’s happening now.
What makes silver unique is its double life. As money, it moves with gold when people lose trust in the dollar. As industry, it’s irreplaceable in the technologies powering the future—especially AI infrastructure. Silver is in high-density circuit boards, semiconductors, thermal interface materials, connectors—all vital for AI systems.
The one-two punch is why silver is stepping out of the shadows. It’s not just a precious metal—it’s a strategic asset. And here’s a headline you might have missed: Russia is now adding silver to its reserves for the first time in decades.
Think about that. Central banks have been on a gold buying spree for 15 years. And now silver is stepping into that role. It tells you that de-dollarization is not slowing down and silver is now part of the conversation.
For the first time since 1996, global central banks now hold more gold than U.S. Treasuries.
And while gold dominates those purchases, Russia’s 2025 to 2027 federal budget formally earmarked silver for reserves for the first time ever. Texas is also moving in this direction with legislation to recognize gold and silver as legal tender by 2027.
The message is clear: the world is preparing for life after the dollar, and silver is reemerging as money.
Silver is far below its historic potential. The price record of $48.70 was set back in January 1980. Adjusted for inflation, that price record would nearly be $200 today.
Here’s the kicker: if gold climbs to $5,000, which many analysts now see as the next price target, at a normal gold-to-silver ratio, that would put silver at around $100. So $100 silver is not the finish line. History shows that may only be the starting point.
Silver supply is tight. Around 70% of mine output comes as a byproduct of other metals like copper and zinc. That means even higher prices don’t automatically bring more supply.
Meanwhile, demand is surging in energy grid, solar, EVs, investor flows, and the AI revolution. Every AI server farm uses far more silver components than traditional data centers—from chip packaging to cooling systems. Add in de-dollarization and monetary shifts, and this isn’t just a rally. This is a super cycle in motion.
Silver is the bridge between money and technology, between the past and the future. And the case has never been stronger for triple-digit silver.
